Earth: Little More Than a Speck of Dust

"To the Lord the nations are nothing,
no more than a drop of water;
the distant islands are as light as dust...."Do you not know?
Were you not told long ago?
Have you not heard how the world began?[Isaiah 40:15,21]

We humans live on a relatively small planet named Earth that is part of a solar system consisting of a medium-sized star that we call the Sun. Besides Earth, there are seven planets in our solar system. Our solar system is part of a galaxy that we call the Milky Way. Our galaxy consists of more than two hundred billion stars and their planets. There are more than a hundred billion galaxies in our expanding, 156 billion-light years wide universe, which would suggest that there are trillions of stars, planets, and moons.

Obviously, these numbers are only extremely rough estimates. We will never know exactly how many galaxies, stars, planets, and other celestial bodies there are in the universe. But the fact that we are talking about hundreds of billions should be sufficient to amaze us and overwhelm the capacity of our minds to even begin to comprehend the vastness of creation. Consider the possibility that there may be more than one universe. Entertain the notion that there might be many parallel universes.

Now, try to imagine the Earth from the perspective of outer space. Visualize it quietly orbiting the Sun. Visualize the Sun and our solar system tucked away among billions of other stars and their solar systems within our galaxy. Stretch your imagination further and try to visualize our galaxy among a seemingly endless mass of billions of other galaxies.

If you think of the Earth within the context of the universe(s), it is difficult to cling to any certainty you may have about the significance or uniqueness of our planet, and thus the degree of specialness we like to attribute to its inhabitants. It is not only that the Earth gets lost in the numbers, it is that our beautiful planet in reality is no more than a spec of dust in the universe.

High-Energy X-ray View of 'Hand of God'

High-Energy X-ray View of 'Hand of God'

"O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens..."When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; [Psalms 8:1,3]

Can you see the shape of a hand in this new X-ray image? The hand might look like an X-ray from the doctor's office, but it is actually a cloud of material ejected from a star that exploded. NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, or NuSTAR, has imaged the structure in high-energy X-rays for the first time, shown in blue. Lower-energy X-ray light previously detected by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory is shown in green and red.

Nicknamed the "Hand of God," this object is called a pulsar wind nebula. It's powered by the leftover, dense core of a star that blew up in a supernova explosion. The stellar corpse, called PSR B1509-58, or B1509 for short, is a pulsar: it rapidly spins around, seven times per second, firing out a particle wind into the material around it -- material that was ejected in the star's explosion. These particles are interacting with magnetic fields around the material, causing it to glow with X-rays. The result is a cloud that, in previous images, looked like an open hand. The pulsar itself can't be seen in this picture, but is located near the bright white spot.

One of the big mysteries of this object is whether the pulsar particles are interacting with the material in a specific way to make it look like a hand, or if the material is in fact shaped like a hand.

To whom can the holy God be compared?
Is there anyone else like him?
Look up at the sky!
Who created the stars you see?..."[Isaiah 40:25-26]

NuSTAR's view is providing new clues to the puzzle. The hand actually shrinks in the NuSTAR image, looking more like a fist, as indicated by the blue color. The northern region, where the fingers are located, shrinks more than the southern part, where a jet lies, implying the two areas are physically different.

The red cloud at the end of the finger region is a different structure, called RCW 89. Astronomers think the pulsar's wind is heating the cloud, causing it to glow with lower-energy X-ray light.

In this image, X-ray light seen by Chandra with energy ranges of 0.5 to 2 kiloelectron volts (keV) and 2 to 4 keV is shown in red and green, respectively, while X-ray light detected by NuSTAR in the higher-energy range of 7 to 25 keV is blue.

Ito ang sagot ng Banal na Kasulatan;

"As thou knowest not what is the way of the SPIRIT, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child:(Eccle.11:5)

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.(Isaiah 7:14)

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.(Mateo 1:21-23)

EARLY INVENTION

Key -Greek "Kies"as shutting a lock[Matthew 16:19]

The earliest known lock and key device was discovered in the ruins of Nineveh, the capital of ancient Assyria. Locks such as this were later developed into the Egyptian wooden pin lock, which consisted of a bolt, door fixture, and key. When the key was inserted, pins within the fixture were lifted out drilled holes within the bolt, allowing it to move. When the key was removed, the pins fell part-way into the bolt, preventing movement. The warded lockwas also present from antiquity and remains the most recognizable lock and key design in the Western world. The first all-metal lock appeared between the years 870 and 900, and are attributed to the English craftsmen. It is also said that the key was invented by Theodore of Samos in the 6th century BC.

Affluent Romans often kept their valuables in secure boxes within their households, and wore the keys as rings on their fingers. The practice had two benefits: It kept the key handy at all times, while signaling that the wearer was wealthy and important enough to have money and jewelry worth securing.

Money -Greek "denarion a denarius (or ten asses) -- pence, penny(-worth).[Matthew 22:19-21]

The earliest places of storage were thought to be money-boxes containments ( θΗΕΑΤΡΟΕ -) made similar to the construction of a bee-hive,as of the Mycenae tombs of 1550–1500 BC.

An early type of money were cattle, which were used as such from between 9000 to 6000 BCE onwards (Davies 1996 & 1999)Both the animal and the manure produced were valuable; animals are recorded as being used as payment as in Roman law where fines were paid in oxen and sheep (Rollin 1836) and within the Iliad and Odyssey, attesting to a value c.850–800 BCE (Evans & Schmalensee 2005).

It has long been assumed that metals, where available, were favored for use as proto-money over such commodities as cattle, cowry shells, or salt, because metals are at once durable, portable, and easily divisible. The use of gold as proto-money has been traced back to the fourth millennium BC when the Egyptians used gold bars of a set weight as a medium of exchange,as had been done earlier in Mesopotamia with silver bars.

The first mention of the use of money within the Bible is within the book "Genesis" in reference to criteria of the circumcision of a bought slave. Later, the Cave of Machpelah is purchased (withargentum) by Abraham, during a period dated as being the beginning of the twentieth century B.C.E., some-time recent to 1900 B.C.E. (after 1985). The currency was also in use amongst the Philistine people of the same time-period.

The shekel was an ancient unit used in Mesopotamia around 3000 BC to define both a specific weight of barley and equivalent amounts of materials such as silver, bronze and copper. The use of a single unit to define both mass and currency was a similar concept to the British pound, which was originally defined as a one pound mass of silver.

A description of how trade proceeded includes for sales the dividing (clipping) of an amount from a weight of something corresponding to the perceived value of the purchase. Of this the ancient Greek term was Κέρờς. From this one might understand the development of how coinage was imagined from the small metallic clippings (of silver) resulting from trade exchanges. The word used in Thucydides writings History for money is chremata, translated in some contexts as "goods" or "property", although with a wider ranging possible applicable usage, having a definite meaning "valuable things".

The first gold coins of the Grecian age were struck in Lydia at a time approximated to the year 700 B.C.E. The talent in use during the periods of Grecian history both before and during the time of the life of Homer, weighed between 8.42 and 8.75 grammes. (p. 3 – Seltman)

WinePresses  [Matthew 21:33]

While the exact origins of winemaking (and, thus, of pressing grapes) are not known, most archaeologists believe that it originated somewhere in theTranscaucasia between the Black and Caspian Seas in the land that now includes the modern countries of Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan,Turkey and Iran. There are stories in the Imeretin Valley (in what is now Krasnodar Krai, Russia) dating to between 7000-5000 BC of early winemaking using hollowed out logs that they would fill with grapes, tread with their feet and then scoop the juice and crushed grape remains into jars to ferment. In the 17th century, French traveller Sir Jean Chardin would describe a similar practice still in use thousands of years later in Georgia.

The earliest evidence of deliberate winemaking is from excavation at sites like Areni-1 winery in what is now the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. This site, dating back to around 4000 BC included a trough that measured about 3 by 3 1/2 feet and included a drain that went into a 2 feet long vat that could contain about 14-15 gallons (52-57 liters) of wine. The carbon dating of these sites (and earlier sites at Çatalhöyük and Neolithic B sites inJordan) are based on left over grape pips (seeds) and while they provide solid evidence of wine making, they don't necessarily provide evidence of how the wine was made and if the modern concept of pressing (i.e. extracting juice from the skins and separating it from the skins and seeds) was used.

A 1st century AD wine pressing trough from the Old City of Jerusalem.
Winemaking in ancient Egypt probably used people's feet for crushing and pressing the grapes, but tomb paintings excavated at Thebes showed that the ancient Egyptians developed some innovations to their wine presses-such as the use of long bars hanging over the treading basins and straps that the workers could hold onto while treading. Hieroglyph and paintings also showed the Egyptians by at least by the 18th Dynasty (c. 1550-c. 1292 BC) were also using a type of cloth "sack press" where grapes or skins left over from treading would be twisted and squeezed by a tourniquet to release the juice. A modified version of this sack press had the sack hung between two large poles with workers holding each pole. After the grapes were loaded into the sack, the workers would walk in opposite directions, squeezing the grapes in the bag and capturing the juice in a vat underneath the bag.[5] This early wine press not only had the benefit of exerting more pressure on the skins and extracting more juice than treading but the cloth also acted an early form of filtering the wine.

Millstones or mill stones are stones used in grist mills, for grinding wheat or other grains.[Matthew 18:6]

Millstones come in pairs. The base or bedstone is stationary. Above the bedstone is the turning runner stone which actually does the grinding. The runner stone spins above the stationary bedstone creating the "scissoring" or grinding action of the stones. A runner stone is generally slightly concave, while the bedstone is slightly convex. This helps to channel the ground flour to the outer edges of the stones where it can be gathered up.

The runner stone is supported by a cross-shaped metal piece (rind or rynd) fixed to a "mace head" topping the main shaft or spindle leading to the driving mechanism of the mill (wind, water (including tide) or other means).

JESUS MENTION THE PRINCIPLES OF CAMERA ON HIS LORD PRAYER

A camera is an optical instrument that records images that can be stored directly, transmitted to another location, or both. These images may be stillphotographs or moving images such as videos or movies. The term camera comes from the word camera obscura (Latin for "dark chamber"), an early mechanism for projecting images. The modern camera evolved from the camera obscura. The functioning of camera is very similar to the functioning of the human eye.

But whenever you pray, go into your CHAMBER, close the door (eye), and pray to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees from the hidden place will reward you.[Matthew 6:6]

When you close your eyes the CHAMBER is in total Darkness -camera obscura means "DARK CHAMBER" same like our eyes ...camera work with the light of the visible spectrum ...camera is optical device which create a single image of an object or sense record it on an electronic sensor or photographic film.

[Matthew 6:22]
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

A camera may work with the light of the visible spectrum or with other portions of the electromagnetic spectrum A still camera is an optical device which creates a single image of an object or scene, and records it on an electronic sensor or photographic film. All cameras use the same basic design: light enters an enclosed box through a converging lens and an image is recorded on a light-sensitive medium. A shutter mechanism controls the length of time that light can enter the camera. Most photographic cameras have functions that allow a person to view the scene to be recorded, allow for a desired part of the scene to be in focus, and to control the exposure so that it is not too bright or too dim. A data display, often a liquid crystal display (LCD), permits the user to view settings such as film speed, exposure, and shutter speed.

Vegetarianism

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.[Gen.1:29-30]

Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from the consumption of meat – red meat, poultry, seafood and the flesh of any other animal; it may also include abstention from by-products of animal slaughter.

"He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.[Psalms 104:14-15]

Vegetarianism can be adopted for different reasons. Many object to eating meat out of respect for sentient life. Such ethical motivations have been codified under various religious beliefs, along with the concept of animal rights. Other motivations for vegetarianism are health-related, political, environmental, cultural, aesthetic or economic. There are varieties of the diet as well: an ovo-vegetarian diet includes eggs but not dairy products, alacto-vegetarian diet includes dairy products but not eggs, and an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet includes both eggs and dairy products. A vegan, or strict vegetarian, diet excludes all animal products, including eggs, dairy, beeswax and honey. Some vegans also avoid animal products such as leather for clothing and goose-fat for shoe polish.

Various packaged or processed foods, including cake, cookies, candies, chocolate, yogurt and marshmallows, often contain unfamiliar animal ingredients, and may be a special concern for vegetarians due to the likelihood of such additions.Often, products are reviewed by vegetarians for animal-derived ingredients prior to purchase or consumption.Vegetarians vary in their feelings regarding these ingredients, however. For example, while some vegetarians may be unaware of animal-derived rennet's role in the usual production of cheese and may therefore unknowingly consume the product, other vegetarians may not take issue with its consumption.

INTERNET

And The Lord Said ...."But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.(Daniel 12:4)

The Bible Prophecy about the time of the end the knowledge shall be increased the Invention of Internet is one of the prophetic fulfilment the knowledge of Information shall increased.

Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? [Job 38:36]

A concept of Internet that carries an extensive range of information resources and services "by putting knowledge and wisdom in inward parts who hath understanding to the heart.

The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to serve several billion users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries an extensive range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (WWW), the infrastructure to support email, and peer-to-peer networks.

Most traditional communications media including telephone, music, film, and television are being reshaped or redefined by the Internet, giving birth to new services such as voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Internet Protocol television (IPTV). Newspaper, book, and other print publishing are adapting to website technology, or are reshaped into blogging and web feeds. The Internet has enabled and accelerated new forms of human interactions through instant messaging, Internet forums, and social networking. Online shopping has boomed both for major retail outlets and smallartisans and traders. Business-to-business and financial services on the Internet affect supply chains across entire industries.

"..kept the matter in mind.(Gen.37:11)

The origins of the Internet reach back to research commissioned by the United States government in the 1960s to build robust, fault-tolerant communication via computer networks. While this work, together with work in the United Kingdom and France, led to important precursor networks, they were not the Internet. There is no consensus on the exact date when the modern Internet came into being, but sometime in the early to mid-1980s is considered reasonable.

CORNER ROCK OF THE EARTH AND IMAGINARY LINES AROUND THE EARTH

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; [Job 38:4-6]

1. Three MAIN layers
a. Core: metallic, made of iron & nickel
b. Mantle: semi-solid rock
c. Crust: rigid, brittle, & thin layer of rock

2. Mantle
a. Lower mantle
i. a.k.a., mesosphere
ii. 2100 km thick
iii. Hot, semi-solid rock
iv. Consistency of hot asphalt

b. Upper mantle
i. Composed of two parts
1. Asthenosphere is semi-solid or 'plastic' and is ~700 km thick
2. Uppermost part of the mantle is solid and ~100 km thick

In geography, latitude (φ) is a geographic coordinate that specifies the north-south position of a point on the Earth's surface. Latitude is an angle (defined below) which ranges from 0° at the Equator to 90° (North or South) at the poles. Lines of constant latitude, or parallels, run east–west as circles parallel to the equator. Latitude is used together with longitude to specify the precise location of features on the surface of the Earth.

LIGHT DWELLETH

"Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof, [Job 38:19]

Light originates as single photons, or particle/waves having zero mass, no electric charge, and an indefinite lifetime. Photons are emitted by electrons as they lose orbital energy around their atom. The expendable orbital energy is transferred to the electron either when it is bumped by an atom or when it is struck by another photon. Before being excited to a highter electron shell, the electron is in the lowest possible shell, or ground state.

light is nothing more than electromagnetic waves which can be sensed by our eyes. it came from lanterns! when you give energy to a material (a lamp filament for instance), i.e. heat it, electrons of its atoms get energy and travel to a higher level of energy(orbit). but in this state, atom is unstable so the raised electrons come back to their original orbit which has a lower level of energy. this energy difference(between two orbits) is emitted by an electromagnetic wave which sometimes is visible light.

MAN INVENTION OF SPACECRAFT

[Proverbs 23:5]
"... For riches certainly build themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward the heavens

Man  Build a wings that they fly away as an eagle toward the heavens ,this is  Biblical Prophecy of man invention of spacecraft

In January 1946, the U.S. outer space research program was started with captured V-2 rockets. A V-2 panel of representatives of interested agencies was formed, and more than 60 rockets were fired before the supply was finally exhausted. On March 15, the first American built V-2 rocket was static-fired at the White Sands Proving Grounds.

The first American-built rocket to leave the earth's atmosphere (the WAC) was launched on March 22nd. It was launched from White Sands, and attained 50 miles of altitude.

The U.S. Army began a program to develop two stage rockets. This resulted in the WAC Corporal as the 2nd stage of a V-2. On October 24th, a V-2 with a motion picture camera was launched. It recorded images from 65 miles above the earth, covering 40,000 square miles. On December 17th, the first night-flight of a V-2 occurred. It achieved a record making 116 miles of altitude, and velocity of 3600 mph.

German rocket engineers arrived in Russia to begin work with Soviet rocket research groups. Sergei Korolev built rockets using technology from the V-2.

A spacecraft (or spaceship) is a vehicle, vessel or machine designed to fly in outer space. Spacecraft are used for a variety of purposes, includingcommunications, earth observation, meteorology, navigation, planetary exploration and transportation of humans and cargo.

On a sub-orbital spaceflight, a spacecraft enters space and then returns to the surface, without having gone into an orbit. For orbital spaceflights, spacecraft enter closed orbits around the Earth or around other celestial bodies. Spacecraft used for human spaceflight carry people on board as crew or passengers from start or on orbit (space stations) only, while those used for robotic space missions operate either autonomously or telerobotically.Robotic spacecraft used to support scientific research are space probes. Robotic spacecraft that remain in orbit around a planetary body are artificialsatellites. Only a handful of interstellar probes, such as Pioneer 10 and 11, Voyager 1 and 2, and New Horizons, are currently on trajectories that leave our Solar System.

Orbital spacecraft may be recoverable or not. By method of reentry to Earth they may be divided in non-winged space capsules and wingedspaceplanes.

Currently, only twenty-four nations have spaceflight technology: Russia (Roscosmos, the Russian Space Forces), the United States (NASA, the US Air Force, SpaceX (a U.S private aerospace company)), the member states of the European Space Agency, the People's Republic of China (China National Space Administration), Japan (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), and India (Indian Space Research Organisation).

MYRRH-CALAMUS -ALOES-PERFUMES THE ART OF FIRST CHEMIST

Moreover the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels, And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin: And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.(Exudos 30:22-25)
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Maryhis mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.(Matthew 2:11)

And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.(John 19:31)

Myrrh is a resin that comes from trees belonging to the genusCommiphora - which grow in Northern Africa and the Middle East.

The sap like substance, which has a unique sweet and smoky aroma, has a wide range of uses.

Myrrh is mainly used:
as a fragrance
for embalming
to flavor food products
for its potential therapeutic properties

This Medical News Today article provides details on Myrrh's potential health benefits as well as some possible side effects and precautions.

The essential oil has been part of medical practice in traditional therapies for millennia.

The word myrrh comes from the Arabic word "murr" which translates into "bitter".

In Ancient Egypt myrrh was used to treat hay fever and herpes. The ancient Greeks used it as an antiseptic for soldiers to clean up battle wounds - myrrh was commonly carried into the battlefield.

Myrrh is mentioned in the New Testament as one of the three gifts the three wise men brought to Jesus when he was born (Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh).
Myrrh's potential health benefits

A vial of myrrh essential oil.

Modern scientific research is beginning to find evidence suggesting that Myrrh may offer some health benefits. However, it is important to note that many of these claims require further studies.

Possible benefits of myrrh include:

Antioxidant benefits - a study published in the prestigious journal Food and Chemical Toxicology found that myrrh (Commiphora molmol) emulsion was able to protect against lead (PbAc)-induced hepatotoxicity.

The authors of the study concluded that myrrh (Commiphora molmol) emulsion is a "powerful antioxidant" that can "protect against PbAc-induced hepatic oxidative damage and immunotoxicity by reducing lipid peroxidation and enhancing the antioxidant and immune defense mechanisms."1

Anticancer properties - a group of Chinese researchers revealed that extracts and compounds from Commiphora myrrha resin may be effective against human gynecologic cancer cells.2 Their findings were published in the Journal of Medicinal Plants Research.

Despite a current lack of scientific evidence, many people use myrrh for treating:
CoughAsthma
Indigestion
Ulcers
Sore throat
Congestion
Hemorrhoids
Joint pain
Side effects and precautions

People are advised not to consume high amounts of myrrh as it can potentially cause severe heart irregularities, according to a study published in the journal Phytotherapy Research3.

In addition, people who have sensitive skin may develop allergic contact dermatitis. The finding was reported in a study published in Contact Dermatitis.4

Women who are pregnant should avoid taking myrrh by mouth as it may be a cause of miscarriage.

Side effects of Myrrh may include:
Making a fever worse
Heart Problems
Lowering blood pressure
Uterine bleeding

CHEMISTRY:

And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary:(Exodus 30:25)

Apothecary /əˈpɒθɨkəri/ is a historical name for a medical professional who formulates and dispenses materia medica to physicians, surgeons and patients— a role now served by a pharmacist (or a chemist or dispensing chemist) and some caregivers.

In addition to pharmacy responsibilities, the apothecary offered general medical advice and a range of services that are now performed solely by other specialist practitioners, such as surgery and midwifery. Apothecaries often operated through a retail shop which, in addition to ingredients for medicines, sold tobacco and patent medicines.

In its investigation of herbal and chemical ingredients, the work of an apothecary may be regarded as a precursor of the modern sciences of chemistry andpharmacology, prior to the formulation of the scientific method.
PERFUMES:
New International Version
As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.(Ecle.10:1)

Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; So doth the sweetness of a man's friend [that cometh] of hearty counsel.(Prov.27:9 ASV)

Calamus:
Sweet flag has a very long history of medicinal use in Chinese and Indian herbal traditions. The leaves, stems, and roots are used in various Siddhaand Ayurvedic medicines. It is widely employed in modern herbal medicine as its sedative, laxative, diuretic, and carminative properties. It is used in Ayurveda to counter the side effects of all hallucinogens. Sweet Flag, known as "Rat Root" is one of the most widely and frequently used herbal medicines amongst the Chipewyan people.

Aloe:
The medicinal uses of aloe vera are amazing, as the benefits of aloe vera remedies are truly significant. Aloe vera is well-loved by many, and a famed household plant. This plant is incredibly diverse in its uses. I invite you to come find out why you should consider having this wonderful, succulent plant in your home too.

Amazing benefits of aloe vera

I remember it well. There I was, walking out of a coffee shop in Ashland, Oregon so many years ago on a crisp fall morning with a very hot cup of tea in my hand. It was my right hand and I am right hand dominant. I stopped to look up at the azure sky, gazing at the clouds for a moment. In that moment as I saw clouds turn into soft creatures and I imagined myself floating along with them a skate boarder skidded right into me.

It threw me off balance and my very hot cup of tea splashed all over my hand. I could feel the first few layers of my skin sting immediately. I had just gotten a second degree burn. To this day, I still have the faintest light brown color on my right hand from this burn. If it weren't for the medicinal uses of aloe vera to soothe my skin immediately (from inside the coffee shop!), it could've been much worse.

There are as many benefits as there are medicinal uses of aloe vera. The gel that is found on the inside of this plant is cooling and soothing for all sorts of things from burns, cuts, stings, bruises and rashes to welts, itching, blisters, infections, and abrasions. Here are some other incredible benefits and medicinal uses of aloe vera:
Aloe vera is good for irritated or inflamed skin.
Aloe vera helps repair your skin from the most tender of wounds.
Aloe vera helps speed the process of healing to burns and other wounds.
Aloe vera is hydrating, rejuvenating and toning for your skin.
Aloe vera moisturizes and softens your skin.

Imagine never having to go to the grocery store to buy aloe vera remedies when you can grow it as a house plant and get it fresh anytime you need it! You end up saving money, time, reduce packaging and resources, and you get this direct and immediate connection with the aloe vera plant right at your fingertips. Often there are commercial products available in grocery stores and other places with aloe vera in it. The disadvantage to using products like these is that there are often artificial additives that aren't needed. All you need is the plant itself to receive the benefits of the medicinal uses of aloe vera.

There's something else that's missing here. It's connection. By having aloe vera available right on hand to use when you need it for immediate relief or for making your own goods, you create an important and necessary connection. Having aloe vera right on hand calls you forward into having a greater awareness of taking care of yourself and knowing how to respond to your health needs. I think of aloe vera like one of my most prized allies. I not only get companionship, beauty and aesthetics right around me from the aloe, I get medicinal uses of aloe vera anytime I need them.

A friend of mine once gave me an aloe vera plant and said to me, "Jeannine, you just never know when you'll need to use it." She was right. And one day my toddler son just barely touched our wood stove with the tips of his little fingers and got a really bad burn. Aloe vera remedies came to the rescue. After applying aloe vera directly and then making an aloe vera wash as well, his fingertips cooled down quickly, the healing began, and it helped him to calm down.

Lastly, you get to be up close and personal with the aloe vera plant knowing that it's a fairly easy plant to grow and take care of. You get the satisfaction of learning how to bring immediate relief in painful moments like getting a burn and you also get the total fulfillment of learning how to use aloe vera in everyday life to nourish and support your health and well-being in many different ways. All this from the incredible medicinal uses of aloe vera!
Medicinal uses of aloe vera

Aloe vera is very versatile. It's your immediate assistant for relieving burns from sun exposure, chemical burns, or burns from a fire. It's even used in the burn units of some hospitals! However, beyond the emergencies and immediate medicinal uses of aloe vera, it can be added to other ingredients to make soap, facial toners, facial scrubs and masks, after shave, mists, lip balm, salve, tinctures, washes, creams and astringents. One of my favorite ways to use aloe vera is to drink its juice. It's incredibly cleansing and has a really tasty punchy flavor!

Want to soften and condition your hair and get it clean without stripping it of its protective oils? Aloe vera remedies come in the form of shampoos that make your hair naturally sparkle. When combined with other plants and oils for this particular use, the medicinal uses of aloe vera truly shine (no pun intended)! Aloe vera gel has a 4.3 pH that makes it wonderful for shampoos and lotions.

One of the other medicinal uses of aloe vera is that it contains aloin, the brown gel which is focused near the blades of the leaf. Aloin is a natural sunscreen protectant from sun exposure. Speaking of skin, there are many aloe vera remedies that are good for all skin types from oily to dry.

Cassia:
Cassia bark yields from 1 to 2 per cent of volatile oil, somewhat resembling that of cinnamon. It should be kept from the light in well-stoppered, ambercoloured bottles. It is cheaper and more abundant than the Ceylon variety, and is the only official oil of Cinnamon in the United States Pharmacopoeia and German Pharmacopoeia. It is imported from Canton and Singapore. Its value depends on the percentage of cinnamic aldehyde which it contains. It is heavier, less liquid, and congeals more quickly than the Ceylon oil.

There are also found in it cinnamyl acetate, cinnamic acid, phenylpropyl acetate and orthocumaric aldehyde, tannic acid and starch.

Ceylon cinnamon, if tested with one or two drops of tincture of iodine to a fluid ounce of a decoction of the powder, is but little affected, while with Cassia a deep blueblack colour is produced. The cheaper kinds of Cassia can be distinguished by the greater quantity of mucilage, which can be extracted by cold water.

Eighty pounds of the freshly-prepared bark yield about 2.5 oz. of the lighter of the two oils produced, and 5 5 of the heavier.

An oil was formerly obtained by distilling the leaves after maceration in sea water, and this was imported into Great Britain.

---Medicinal Action and Uses---Stomachic, carminative, mildly astringent, said to be emmenagogue and capable of decreasing the secretion of milk. The tincture is useful in uterine haemorrhage and menorrhagia, the doses of 1 drachm being given every 5, 10 or 20 minutes as required. It is chiefly used to assist and flavour other drugs, being helpful in diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and to relieve flatulence.

The oil is a powerful germicide, but being very irritant is rarely used in medicine for this purpose. It is a strong local stimulant, sometimes prescribed in gastro-dynia, flatulent colic, and gastric debility.

---Dosages---Of oil, 1 to 3 minims. Of powder, 10 to 20 grains.

---Poisons and Antidotes---It was found that 6 drachms of the oil would kill a moderately sized dog in five hours, and 2 drachms in forty hours, inflammation of the gastro-intestinal mucous membrane being observed.

---Other Species, Substitutes and Adulterations---The powder cinnamon is often adulterated with sugar, ground walnut shells, galanga rhizome, etc.

The oil sometimes contains resin, petroleum, or oil of Cloves. Saigon cinnamon was recognized by the United States Pharmacopoeia in 1890. It comes from French Cochin-China, its botanical origin being uncertain. It is also known as Annam Cinnamon, China Cinnamon, and God's Cinnamon.

For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;(Deut.8:7-8)

The bark of the pomegranate tree is highly toxic to intestinal worms. Boil the bark of a 2-inch long root bit in a cup of water and drink it three times a day to relieve the parasites.

Fever:
Mix a pinch of saffron powder to a glass of juice. The beverage is very useful in fevers and it keeps away thirst felt during fever.

Skin irritation caused by intestinal worms:
Anal itching is a key symptom indicating the presence of intestinal worms. It is often caused by parasites in the intestines that go to the anal area to lay their eggs causing local itching. Roast the skin of the pomegranate until it is dark brown and brittle. Crush the powder to a fine texture. Mix with a little edible oil and apply over the anus.

Teeth and gum disorder:
Regular use of toothpowder of the rind helps in prevention and curing tooth decay and gum disease. It cleans the teeth, leaving them sparkling white. To make the powder, dry the rind in the sun until it is brittle and grind it. Mix the powder with a little fine black pepper and store in a jar. Use it everyday with a toothbrush or apply and rub with the finger.

Bleeding piles:

‘It was miraculous’: Doctors save man’s severed hand by grafting it to his ankle

Doctors have successfully reattached a man's severed hand after it was attached to his ankle for a month.

On November 10, Xiao Wei's right hand was severed due to an accident at work.

He said: 'I was just shocked and frozen at the spot, until co-workers unplugged the machine and retrieved my hand and took me to the hospital.'

It is Possible ...YES....2,000 yrs ago is already revealed in the Bible..The part were broken off might be graffed in.

"And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; ..."Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. [Romans 11:17,19]

Commenting on the case, Mr Wei's doctor said: 'His injury was severe. Besides ripping injuries, his arm was also flattened. We had to clear and treat his injuries before taking on the hand reattachment surgery'

At his local hospital in Changde, in China's Hunan province, doctors said they were unable to save his hand.

But they suggested that doctors at the larger regional hospital may be able to help.

Mr Wei said: 'I am still young, and I couldn't imagine life without a right hand.'

Seven hours after the incident, he arrived at the other hospital in Changsha.

Doctors here were hopeful they could re-attach the hand, but not right away. So, in order to stop the severed hand from dying, they attached it to his ankle.
