And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, by reason of the confusion of the roaring of the sea, and of the waves:(Luke 21:25)

For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.(Romans 8:22)

In astrophysics, a spacequake (sky quakes) is a temblor in the Earth's magnetic field. Though occurring in space, the effects of a spacequake can reach the surface of the Earth in the form ofelectromagnetic reverberations. The total energy in a spacequake can rival that of a magnitude 5 or 6 earthquake.

Spacequakes are measured using a magnetometer and displayed with a magnetogram.
The precursors for a spacequake were discovered by THEMIS in 2007, and were first reported in April 2010 in a publication in the Geophysical Research Letters.

And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of heaven shall be moved.(Matthew 24:29)

The pillars of heaven tremble, and dread at his beck.(Job 26:11)

Whose voice then moved the earth; but now he promiseth, saying: Yet once more: and I will move, not only the earth, but heaven also.(Hebrew 12:26)

At their presence the earth hath trembled, the heavens are moved: the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their shining.(Joel 2:10)
